As the Technical Manager you will collaborate with other leaders to steer our organization towards its strategic goals while ensuring the delivery of business-aligned and industry-leading IT services. Additionally, you will oversee people management, budget, and processes to maintain operational efficiency. This role is a 2 year fixed term contract

**Responsibilities**:- Ensure operational accountability, including people management, budgeting, and adherence to processes.- Lead, guide, and develop individuals and teams to effectively achieve area outcomes, including project teams when necessary.- Recognize and encourage workforce performance to drive continuous improvement and maximize technology investments' value.- Improve policies, systems, and processes while ensuring information integrity, disciplined documentation, and compliance with industry standards.- Identify and address issues, risks, and opportunities, establishing suitable processes and resources for delivering technology solutions aligned with agreed service levels.- Foster effective internal and external relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure continuous alignment of expectations.

Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in a Technical Manager role- Knowledge of industry standards and the ability to guide activities throughout the project and solution lifecycle, ensuring design, implementation, and compliance.- Familiarity with Bank-wide (or similar organization) and area-specific policies and processes, with the ability to monitor and guide on compliance and influence beyond your area.- Strong understanding and technical expertise in the managed area and proficiency in current and emerging technologies.- Proficiency in implementing essential eight security controls on server fleet.- Extensive experience with Puppet or similar configuration management tools.
