**Remuneration**: $33.45 - $34.26 per hour excluding any applicable loadings, allowances and superannuation.

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Trial Data Manager to join our diverse, compassionate and dedicated team. The Clinical Trial Data Manager will coordinate investigators, provide administration support, accurate data entry and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.

The Medical Oncology Research Trial Unit

The Medical Oncology Research Trial Unit (MOR Trials) has been delivering clinical trials for all types of cancer for over 30 years. MOR Trials vision is to provide people of the Hunter with access to cutting-edge clinical trial options.

The MOR Trials Team is a combination of experienced investigators, clinical trial fellows, experienced trial coordinators, data managers, and ethics, finance and laboratory experts. We are also supported by a Clinical Trial Pharmacy Team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage data entry as per the study requirements.

Maintain effective processes that ensure quality research and data integrity.

Collaborate with trial coordinators and investigators to ensure timely accurate data entry.

Effective communication with all stakeholders (internal and external) to facilitate data entry requirements.

What you bring

Able to work proficiently in periods of high demand and activity.

Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal.

Demonstrated effective computer skills spreadsheets, databases and word processing packages.

Knowledge of medical terminology with the ability to interpret medical record for required information and results.

Qualification in Data Management, Health, Science or working towards a combination of qualifications or experience.

The Calvary Mater Newcastle is an Affiliated Health Organisation providing services to both public and private patients primarily from the Hunter New England area. Current employees of NSW Health can request to have various leave entitlement balances transferred to Calvary Mater Newcastle on commencement.
