**About the role**

Mater at Home are currently looking for a skilled **NDIS Support Officer** to join the team on a **part time basis (16 hours per week)** on a **maximum term contract until 30 June 2023**.

The NDIS Support Officer plays a key role in the delivery of exceptional service to Mater at Home clients, clinical, and non-clinical team members, specifically in the NDIS space.

The core function of the role is to support the daily administrative operational requirements of the Mater at Home NDIS team with a specific focus on operational efficiency and process improvement. The incumbent will proactively and often autonomously perform tasks relating to:

- NDIS referral management
- Quoting and requoting NDIS plans and services
- Billing, invoicing and debt recovery
- Customer service
- Management of internal systems and external portals

The role will report to the Business Support Lead and will involve close working relationships with team members in the Mater at Home Allied Health, Clinical and Management team/s.

**Salary range: $32.77 - $36.63 per hour plus superannuation and salary packaging access up to $15,900**

**What you’ll be doing**
- Receipt, review and process NDIS client referrals
- Prepare quotes based on plan information provided by Plan Managers and clinicians
- Analyse billing reports and issue invoices to clients/vendors
- Investigate outstanding debts, follow up for payments, escalate non-payments and request write offs
- Provide comprehensive NDIS administration support to the Allied Health, Clinical Team Leaders, and Senior Management Team;
**About you**
- Previous demonstrated experience in billing processes
- Previous experience and knowledge of NDIS processes and systems highly regarded
- Nil qualifications required, however tertiary qualification in Business Administration (or similar) highly regarded
- Previous administration experience working in a multi-disciplinary healthcare environment;
- Previous experience using health information systems;
- Confident (intermediate) user of the Microsoft Office suite, including Teams;
- Clear and empathic communicator with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service;
- High level literacy skills, excellent phone manner and ability to convey information accurately and effectively with discretion;
