Our client is a leading provider of security and fire safety solutions for businesses and homes. They offer a comprehensive range of products and services, including fire alarms, CCTV systems, access control systems, and much more.

Currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled
**Accounts Receivable Officer** to join the finance team in NSW head office, Rydalmere on a 6 month contract. Opportunity available to become a permanent position

The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for managing the credit control function for the business.

Ensuring that customers pay their invoices on time, reducing the risk of bad debt, and maintaining positive relationships with our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the credit control function, ensuring that all invoices are paid on time
- Monitor and chase overdue debts, ensuring that debts are paid in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and communicate effectively with customers regarding their accounts
- Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers and set appropriate credit limits
- Work closely with other departments within the organization to resolve customer queries and disputes
- Liaise with external debt collection agencies where necessary
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to credit control

**Skills & Experience**:

- 2+ years’ experience in Accounts Receivable ideally in the Construction industry
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with customers in person and over the phone
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Intermediate to Advanced skill in Excel - pivot tables, v-lookups
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience using accounting software
- Confident and professional
