Position: Accounts Receivable Officer - Property Services
Are you a seasoned finance professional with a background in property services and advanced Excel skills? We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Officer. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a key function within the finance department and ensure the smooth operation of accounts receivable processes for property services.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  1. Manage Accounts Receivable Process: Oversee invoicing, billing, and collection activities for property services.
  2. Invoice Generation & Distribution: Create and distribute accurate and timely invoices for property-related services.
  3. Monitor Aging Reports: Track accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
  4. Reconcile Ledgers: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data through regular reconciliation of the accounts receivable ledger.
  5. Collaborate with Internal Departments: Resolve billing discrepancies and address client inquiries related to invoices and payments.
  6. Maintain Transaction Records: Keep detailed records of all transactions and communications related to accounts receivable.
  7. Assist with Financial Closures: Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing financial reports and analyses.
  8. Stay Informed on Regulations: Keep abreast of relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to accounts receivable processes and property services.
  9. Support Finance Team: Provide assistance to other finance team members and participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Proven experience in an accounts receivable or similar finance role, preferably within the property services sector.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (such as TechOne) and Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  3. Attention to Detail: Strong ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.
  5. Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  6. Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of relevant accounting principles and regulations.
  7. Education: Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
