Commercial Sales Account Manager

Bambury is a creative company that designs and imports domestic têxtiles and homewares products for sale to retailers and commercial customers throughout Australia and New Zealand. Our head office is in Bibra Lake (WA), with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland. We have built strong business relationships with our customers through consistency, efficiency and reliability of service.
We are looking for a Commercial Sales Account Manager, based at head office, to represent the company and its products to all potential and current customers base across the Commercial sector, with a primary focus on health care, aged care, and hospitality.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of potential customers.
- Maintaining existing customer base by ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and regular contact.
- Achieving the budgeted revenue and GP for the allocated territory.
- Provide management with weekly reports on sales activities.
- Be willing to do regional country and some interstate travel.
- Proactively solve any problems that arise in a “hands on” manner ensuring the solutions are commercially sound and implemented effectively.
- Using data and insights to identify new accounts and potential for growth.
- Building and maintaining strong and collaborative relationships with key accounts to achieve growth and optimize promotional activities.
- Planning, implementing, and maintaining an effective call cycle.
- Collaborating with cross-function teams to launch and distribute new products.
- Maintaining the account database through CRM
To be successful, you will:
- Have a proven track record in B2B sales and new business development, ideally in a similar industry (home têxtiles/homewares).
- Have a current Drivers License - to travel to service your clients.
- COVID and Flu Vaccinations - this is required to access many of our client sites.
- Have strong computer skills, including the use of a CRM system.
- Must be a self-starter and proactive in finding clients/consistent work.
- Have exceptional communication and time management skills.
- Be able to work autonomously and with the ability to manage your own workload.
- Have a high attention to detail.
- Solid analytical and decision-making skills
- Be highly driven, motivated, organised and experienced at following a call cycle.
- Be able to develop and manage existing client relationships.
- Enjoy working with a variety of exciting and colourful homewares products. You will want to gain an understanding about têxtiles, manufacturing processes, stock availability and other relevant details to clearly and confidently answer customer enquiries.
- A thorough understanding and experience in compiling tenders would be an advantage.
