Raw Energy Dance Education (REDed) is committed to enriching the lives of those in our community and workplace by fostering an outlook that is progressive and adaptable. Since 1999 REDed has been an inclusive environment where educational students receive a positive and engaging experience of dance through our curricular, extracurricular and online programs.
We are currently looking for a highly organised person to play a pivotal role supporting on-the-ground operations and overseeing our teaching staff in Sydney.
- 6 months fixed-term permanent part-time contract (potential to become ongoing for the right applicant)
- Work in our Leichhardt office - 20 hours per week over 4 or 5 days depending on the availability of the successful applicant
- $70,000 (pro-rata) including all penalties and entitlements, plus superannuation
**Requisite skills**:
- High attention to detail and team-oriented approach
- An analytical, logístical mind with well-developed communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Proficient in organising and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and achieve objectives
- Previous management experience (desirable)
- Passion for the Performing Arts industry (desirable)
- Have a valid Working with Children’s Check

**Key responsibilities of the role will include**:
- Overarching Team Management of the 25 of REDed dance Instructors
- Hiring, interviewing and reviewing of teaching team
- Performance management and coaching of team members requiring advanced teaching and curriculum support
- Rostering
- Team training plans (coordinate with Program Development Coordinator)
- Maintain relationships and liaising with existing Curricular and Extracurricular schools
- Program expansion support - First Nations / creative programming / ELC programming / Online input (collaborating with Chorey/Program Development Coordinator)
- Curriculum alignment via REDed Overviews and Lesson Planning
- School handbook / blurb preparation for extracurricular school promotions
- Report to our Founder and Head of REDed
