**About the position**

The Risk, Audit and Insurance (RAI) team is responsible for overseeing risk management, internal audit and insurance across La Trobe University (University).

The purpose of this position is to:

- Under the direction of the Senior Manager - RAI, coordinate the operation of an effective risk, internal audit and insurance program.
- Proactively work across the University to ensure recommendations from internal audits and risks assessments are implemented to support continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and contribute to the successful delivery of the University’s annual insurance renewal program.

**Skills and Experience**

To be considered for this position, you will have;
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Business or Law with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and report writing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including ability to establish and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement and provide high quality advice and guidance in an ethical, independent and impartial manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, that enable clear and articulate presentation of complex information in a meaningful and usable format.
- Ability to deliver high quality outcomes across multiple projects with competing timeframes.
- Advanced computer skills with extensive experience in Microsoft 365 is highly desirable.
