In its 185th year, David Jones is currently in the midst of a dynamic organisational-wide transformation as it transitions back into Australian ownership. With a focus on delivering our Vision2025+ strategy, along with our evolution to a Thriving culture, the Online Customer Service Representative will respond to all forms of customer enquiries and feedback relating to in-store and online experiences to ensure they are resolved in alignment with the David Jones Service Philosophy.
We have multiple casual positions available working from home, with occasional visits to our Burnley Head Office for training and collaboration with the team. Please note, a portion of these roles will be limited tenure contracts.

**What does this role involve?**
- Focus your efforts on providing warm connections, and be an ambassador for service and David Jones
- Communicate clearly and confidently to resolve customer enquiries in line with our service philosophy
- Work collaboratively with your team to ensure we deliver seamless solutions
- Evaluate complex situations and act accordingly, knowing when to escalate for further resolution
- Be an engaging and active listener to ensure you record customer feedback accurately
- Be self-motivated working in a fast-paced, high-volume, transactional environment
**What we are looking for?**
- Previous experience working in a people-focused or service-oriented role
- Have strong written, listening and spoken communication skills
- The ability to remain calm as you multitask in a fast-paced environment, working across multiple systems
- Credibility to ensure you strengthen our brand through every interaction
- The ability to be realistic and practical, establish time frames, promise what you can deliver and follow through
- Flexibility and adaptability, in line with business needs
**To be eligible for this role, you will need the below**
- Must have access to your own laptop and stable internet
- Available to attend 2 weeks of full-time training at our head office in Burnley
- Must be available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week including
- At least 2 days availability between 9:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday
- Must be available to work alternate weekend shifts between 10:00am - 4:00pm from home
