The role is responsible for leading the Align and Fix Team for the Everyday Banking Portfolio with a mandate to Identify issues and fix them in a timely manner and share learnings to ensure our products work as expected and prevent further customer remediation.

As a critical member of the Find, Align & Fix team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of COR and ASIC Reportable Events. Your role will involve using your strong business analysis and project management skills to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to:
Perform process, system and gap analysis

Identify and capture detailed business requirements

Conduct impact and risk assessments

Own, organise and support change and implementation activities to ensure all impacted teams and roles are trained, equipped and ready to absorb/manage change.

Develop business testing strategy and plans and co-ordinate/execute on these.

This role will work collaboratively with all of EDB’s squads and the broader value chain partners to ensure any issues identified are identified and addressed in a timely manner per regulatory requirements.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Deep experience in product and event management
Project Management and business analyst skills
Ability to explore customer needs in a data-driven way to develop and implement solutions to issues
Work collaboratively with Risk (1st and 2nd line), Legal, Technology, Customer Resolution and Product teams to ensure any issues identified are recorded and addressed in a timeline manner that meets regulatory requirements
Engagement with senior stakeholders and co-ordination of responses to requests for information
Facilitate a supportive team environment to ensure the team are engaged and able to deliver on EDB’s purpose
Develop strong stakeholder relationships (within ANZ including with senior/executive stakeholders) and maintain effective communication channels to effectively resolve issues and remove barriers to success
