Reporting/work relationships
The role reports operationally and professionally to the Director of Operations. There are no direct reports to this role.
RSQ is a 24/7 clinical service, and this role will be required to work across 7 days and 24 hours in a fair and equitable roster.
Mandatory qualifications, registrations and other requirements
- It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment (Health Employment Directive No. 01/16):
- measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)
- varicella (chicken pox)
- pertussis (whooping cough)
- hepatitis B

**The essential requirements for this role are**:
- Ability to consistently deliver a high level of data accuracy, customer service, demonstrating rapport building skills, listening skills and empathy.
- Sound communication skills with the ability to interact professional and sensitively with all levels of staff, patients and external stakeholders.
- Experience working with innovative technologies in the health care setting, particularly in relation to videoconference enabled clinical services.
- Ability to work with individuals, groups and as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team contributing to a cohesive team environment by sharing information, support and assisting colleagues in a proactive manner.
- Strong self-management skills and flexibility to adapt to unexpected changes.
- High-level organisational and prioritisation skills and the ability to work autonomously in a self-directed manner while contributing to patient flow and the aeromedical environment.
**The highly desirable requirements for this role are**:
- Administrative experience in government health system or equivalent large organisation.
- Administrative experience supporting clinical frontline services.
