We’re currently seeking a **Communications Manager** to join our General Secretary Group in Sydney, Australia. This pivotal role involves overseeing internal communications across Australia and New Zealand, as well as supporting external communications. You’ll have the opportunity to foster meaningful relationships both within Danone and externally.

**Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)**:

- **Independent Management of Internal Communications**: Take charge of the internal communications program across Australia and New Zealand.
- **Media Relations and Press Releases**: Handle press releases and serve as the primary point of contact when interacting with the media.
- **Creative Content Generation**: Create engaging content, both in traditional formats and digitally.
- **Event Coordination and Enhancement**: Collaborate closely with HR and other internal stakeholders to organise and manage internal events (such as the annual company conference and milestone celebrations) that enhance our employee value proposition.
- **Global and Regional Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with global and regional internal stakeholders, as well as relevant charities and nonprofit organisations, to further our sustainability and broader corporate social responsibility commitments.
- **Stakeholder Relationship Management**: Build and maintain relationships with media stakeholders.
- **Comprehensive Reporting**: Provide detailed monthly reports and handle ad-hoc reporting for both internal and external purposes.

About you
You’re a proactive go-getter with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You also excel at building and maintaining relationships across a wide variety of stakeholders. Your creative ideas breathe life into the company’s various initiatives through effective communication.

**Ideally you will have**:

- **Industry Experience**: worked in an FMCG organisation or the consumer goods industry, preferably within a multinational company.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- **Internal Communications**: Previous experience managing internal communications, either from an agency or a corporate setting, is valuable.
- **Stakeholder Relationships**: You should be adept at developing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and have the ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders.
- **Adaptability**: A flexible approach to work, with a willingness to diversify your existing skill set and innovate our ways of working.
- **Time Management**: Strong time management skills, including the ability to plan in advance.
