ROLE OVERVIEW

The Business Development Director will be part of our APAC growth community and play an essential role in driving growth across new clients within ANZ REGION.The position will be responsible for building a sales pipeline through successful lead generation and a proactive prospecting approach; as well as converting opportunities by building meaningful client relationships and creating compelling sales propositions and solutions for our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Pipeline Building

A strong understanding of creative, content and media landscape within the ANZ REGION

A good understanding of the different marketing channels and the production/delivery environment.

A very strong networker who has an established and developing contact list in focus sectors and industries.

Able to articulate the full breadth of Tag content and production capabilities.

Total Pipeline Value

Total Pipeline Coverage vs Target

Pipeline Conversion

Build trust and strong client relationships to advance opportunities through the sales funnel to contract signed.

Engage with senior client stakeholders (predominantly marketing and procurement) through a consultative sales approach to close deals successfully.

Able to lead teams in the preparation of documentation of live client tenders (RFI, RFP, RFQ) as well as presentations.

Work with bid support to ensure all developed content is high quality, brand compliant, and delivered on deadline.

A strong presenter (virtually and in-person) to be able to articulate complex ideas, concisely and clearly.

A proven solution sales approach with the ability to articulate value-added propositions and stories for our clients.

Identify additional profit-enhancing opportunities across Tag capabilities to be able to cross-sell successfully.

Working with Tag stakeholders across operations, creative, legal, technology and commercial finance to design comprehensive and considered client solutions.

Strong commercial understanding to ensure proposed solutions deliver to agreed business margins.

Key Performance Metrics:

Total Pipeline Conversion

Delivery of contractual and transactional new business in line with targets

Pipeline Reporting

Timely and accurate tracking of prospects and opportunities effectively using CRM tools.

Able to report back progress and updates to the regional team
