**About the Role**
Bring your enthusiasm, sense of initiative, and willingness to learn to this exciting Events and Communications Officer position working with a leading mental health organisation. This position will support the delivery of the annual Recovered Futures Art Exhibition in Queensland Mental Health Week, as well as supporting the team with key communications activities throughout the year.**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Assist with the planning and delivery of key events programs such as the Recovered Futures Art Exhibition
- Support the implementation of communication and marketing strategies and plans, ensuring content is consistent with organisational key messages
- Provide support across online and printed organisational communications, including social media, flyers, brochures and website channels
- Liaise with external suppliers, stakeholders and staff to support the delivery of communications and events activities
- Manage the administrative function of the team, and other duties as required to support the Manager Communications and Events

**Skills & Experience required**
- Tertiary qualifications in events management, marketing, or communications is desirable, but not essential for someone for someone with relevant experience
- Passionate and creative thinking individual who can contribute their own ideas
- Flexible attitude and someone who can adapt to changing priorities and needs of the team
- Strong communication and engagement skills, someone who can build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly motivated, and willing to give things a go and learn from others within the team
- A natural problem solver and a positive, "can-do" attitude
