**About the role**

Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members’ world better. As **Events Manager, Community & Events** (known internally as Lead, Community & Events) you will play a pivotal role in fostering a sense of belonging and engagement among employees as well as invited guests and visitors to Australian Retirement Trust (ART) nationally. A key focus in this role will be on building relationships, organising community events and activities through artful and holistic experiences, and creating opportunities for employees to connect and collaborate in our unique workplace, which is a powerful expression of who we are and what we care about at ART.

In this 12-month fixed-term role, you will manage both the functional and cultural requirements for any internal/ external events hosted within ART’s workplaces, acting as the key point of contact for stakeholders to collaborate with, ensuring alignment of events and activities within the broader ART organisational goals. This is a highly strategic role, and the ability to influence and enable a deeper connection with the organisation through intentionally curated purposeful moments will be central to your success in this role. Think of yourself as ART’s very own ‘Vibe Manager’

**About you**

If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications may include some or most of the below:

- Previous experience in a similar role and excellent people skills with a natural affinity to help others and create positive experiences.
- Strong stakeholder management, experience in matrix organisations and awareness of change management practices (highly regarded).
- Good at understanding and taking a pragmatic approach to solving problems.
- Ability to multi-task and experience in working in fast-paced environments.
- Deals well with stressful situations and can easily identify priorities.
- Strong administration skills and digitally savvy.
- Strong time management and verbal communication skills coupled with a high attention to detail.
- An open and enthusiastic manner with a commitment to maintaining positive and effective relationships.
- Appropriate level of fitness and strength for manual lifting - this is an energetic role
