Medical Receptionist

Our Specialist Psychiatry client is seeking an experienced Full-time **Medical Receptionist **to join their team at Toowong. This employer places a strong emphasis on providing a professional, respectful and inclusive office environment where everyone works closely together as team.

This position is offered on a permanent full-time basis on a 6 day per week roster (Saturdays are one per month). The hours will be rostered within the hours of 8am-6pm with a day off per month and an early finish on Fridays (2.45pm). This position is located close to Toowong Towers and train station.

**About the role**:

- Greeting patients as they arrive at our clinic in the warm manner that we are known for - making them feel genuinely welcome and comfortable as soon as they walk through the door of our clinic
- Answering phone calls in that same welcoming manner
- Appointment schedule management
- Processing patient payments (use Genie)
- Scanning and digitising patient records
- Adhoc Medical typing as required

**Previous experience we value**:

- Experience working within a busy general practice and a willingness to learn and commit to a Specialist role
- Experience using Patient Management software (eg. Best Practice, Genie etc)
- Competence in using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and in working with PDF files
- Medical typing experience or willingness to learn

**Hours**: Monday to Thursday between 8am-6pm and Friday 8.15am-2.45pm; 2nd week is Monday to Thursday between 8am-6pm, Friday off, Saturday 8am-1pm).

**Salary**: Commensurate with skills plus Super.
