- An exciting opportunity has become available in the People and Culture team at Georges River Council in Hurstville, for an enthusiastic and dedicated Organisational Capability Officer to join the team. The Organisational Capability Officer plays a critical role within the People Experience team who are responsible for designing and delivering learning and development and organisation culture initiatives that uplift the employee experience at Georges River Council.

The Organisational Capability Officer requires a diverse skillset and will be responsible for a range of activities including managing internal and external relationships to support effective coordination of training, designing and updating communications and materials, administering the learning management system and supporting the wider team in delivering programs and projects.

**About the Opportunity**
- Permanent, Full-Time Role - 70 hours per fortnight
- Salary from $76,264.60 to $88, 364.17 per annum plus 11% superannuation

**Responsibilities**
- Provide timely and accurate administration processes supporting all organisational development and capability activities.
- Provide timely and accurate advice to staff regarding all organisational development and capability functions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, including the management of the learning inbox, maintaining relevant intranet content, online forms and production of business process maps.
- Promotion of professional development, internal and external learning solutions through key communication channels.
- Administer employee engagement programs such as, reward and recognition and service awards.
- Support the coordination and delivery of all organisational development and capability initiatives and projects.
- End to end management of the Learning Management System.
- Report, maintain and monitor the evaluation of learning outcomes.
- Coordination of training course logistics.
- Coordination of the learning needs of new starters.
- Administration and logístical support for the design, development and delivery of in-house learning programs, including on-boarding session facilitation.
- Record keeping of employee files.

**Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications**
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on exceptional customer service.
- High level administrative, project and time-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability in creative problem solving and using initiative.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn new systems.
