About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Specialist Family Violence Practitioner You will provide crisis response and specialist case management services to victim survivors in long-term refuge and transitional housing properties.
Responsibilities include
- Specialist FV Case management and crisis support provided to clients
- Ongoing assessment made of the victim survivor’s issues, needs and circumstances from initial intake to exit
- Individual case plans developed in collaboration with victim survivors and include a range of interventions that address the needs or goals of clients
- Case plans are implemented and actively led by the victim survivor
- Work collaboratively with Salvation Army Housing Victoria with guidance from the team Leader
- Key performance indicators are met in accordance with outcome measurement timeframes
This is a permanent full-time position, based in Coburg North, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 5 Award.
What you will have
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work _(essential)_
- Experience working in family violence sector _(desirable)_
- Experience in specialist family violence and/or child wellbeing work_ (highly desirable)_
- Demonstrated case management experience and skills
- Highly developed time management and work prioritisation skills with ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision required
- Advanced computer skills including experience in data and record management
- A Current Full Driver's Licence
