About the role

We are seeking a dedicated After Hours Specialist Practitioner for our Family Violence Program You will provide case management, outreach crisis response and support to victim survivors in crisis accommodation who have experienced/are experiencing family violence.

Responsibilities include
- Victim survivors assisted to access holistic support services and establish community connections
- Case management and crisis support provided to victim survivors
- Support others in challenging situations and acknowledge outcomes achieved by effective collaboration
- Be available on-call over the 24hr period during weekends and public holidays; between end of shift and 9am (next day) as per roster during weekdays to respond to requests for support
- Accurate, up to date client records and data maintained for all clients
- Keep updated on reforms and resources in family violence and related sectors to support victim survivors requiring crisis and case management support

This is a permanent part-time position, 19 hours per week, based in Coburg North, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Award Level 5.

What you will have
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work_ (essential)_
- Experience working in the family violence sector _(desirable)_
- Experience in specialist family violence and/or child well-being work_ (highly desirable)_
- Demonstrated case management experience and skills
- Highly developed time management and work prioritisation skills with ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision required
- Advanced computer skills including experience in data and record management
