Sustainability Officer - Local Council
- Melbourne's Western suburbs - contract until end of July
- $45.75 p/h plus super - hybrid working model

Public Sector People are currently recruiting a Sustainability Officer for a local council in Melbourne’s Western suburbs.

Working within the Strategy, Economy and Sustainability team, you will be working on developing and implanting highly impactful sustainability and climate change projects and policies.

The role will educate and engage the community to complement Council’s efforts and raise awareness of key environmental issues and opportunities. The position requires extensive project delivery expertise as well as the ability to think strategically, form strong networks, communicate complex information clearly, influence others and drive innovation.

This is a contract until July 31st 2023.

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary degree in environmental science, environmental planning, environmental management, or related discipline.
- Demonstrated project management skills essential with experience in the delivery and design of environmental programs.

**Benefits**:

- Start ASAP.
- Contract through until end of July, likely to be extended.
- Hourly rate of $45.75 plus super.
