**In this role, you will**:
The **Manager, Third Party Assessments** leads and oversees a team dedicated to conducting comprehensive risk assessments of Third Party vendors with particular emphasis on Information Security, and is critical in driving understanding of Third Party controls and ensuring our risk management has the necessary rigour to protect the bank.

In addition to operational leadership, a key part of this role involves driving the development and implementation of strategic initiatives in alignment with strategic objectives. With the ever-increasing risks associated with third party relationships and cybersecurity threats, this includes developing, strengthening, and evolving robust risk assessment and assurance methodologies and help to drive innovation.

- Develop the risk management strategies and tactics to enhance the organisations capacity to cost effectively identify, manage, and minimise third party risk.
- Provide a consultancy and education service to all divisions to enable the identification of risk and successfully implement programs to manage unacceptable risk.
- Lead, mentor and develop the team and foster a culture of continuous improvement

**What you’ll bring..**
- 12+ years in operational risk management
- An information security/BCM related certification (CISM/CISSP/Lead auditor for info sec/BCP) would be a plus.
- Knowledge of control design and assurance methodologies
- Demonstrated strategic capability
- Knowledge of relevant Prudential Standards (eg CPS 231 Outsourcing, CPS234 Information Security, CPS230 Operational Risk Mgmt)
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Analytical, and critical thinker
