Community Cricket Support Services Manager

WA Cricket has an amazing new role for an experienced Manager to lead support and delivery services across Competition Administration, Systems and Learning and Capability.

**About the Role**

The Community Cricket Support Services Manager will manage a support services team responsible for end-to-end support and delivery services across Competition Administration, Systems and Learning and Capability. This role will also manage the stakeholder relationships with Metropolitan Community Cricket Affiliates and their members and provide specialist support to WA Community Cricket Area Teams to enable the delivery of localised outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead a strategic and coordinated approach to the support services required to enable optimal delivery of the WA Community Cricket Strategy.
- Lead a team of specialists across Competition Administration, Learning and Capability, Affiliates, clubs and volunteer services to provide tailored expertise to WA Community Cricket Area Teams as well as Affiliates and their members through oversight of the following:

- WA Cricket Community Cricket Competition Administration Unit responsible for the delivery of Competition Administration services inclusive of WA Community Cricket run competitions and competitions that sit under the jurisdiction of Community Cricket Affiliates.
- Implementation of the Australian Cricket Grassroots Digital Transformation Project in WA, inclusive of the migration from MyCricket to PlayHQ
- Learning and Capability portfolio that drives WA Community Cricket’s coach and umpire education and development strategy and supports the Cricket Blast Coordinator training strategy.
- Relationship Management for the Community Junior Cricket Council, Cricket West, and Veterans WA and their members to support the delivery of each Affiliate’s strategic priorities, maintain good governance practices and align their practices with contemporary sport delivery models.
- WA Community Cricket’s priority club development initiatives (eg: Child Safeguarding, Mental Health and Wellbeing).
- WA Cricket’s Volunteer Recognition program

**About you**

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and develop teams
- Well-developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically
- Demonstrated project management Skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver on outcomes and results
- Sound analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sound understanding of sport governance practices
- Computer literacy
- Financial management
- Sound knowledge of the WA Community cricket sector (desirable)
