About the role

A newly created role, the Respiratory Protection Program Coordinator will provide support to all of Calvary's SA and NT sites and services. The full-time role offers flexible work arrangements to enable the successful applicant to be SA based.

**Your main duties will include**:
Implement Fit Testing as outlined in Calvary’s Respiratory Protection Program Policy and Implementation Guide.

Have a good understanding of the use of RPE and Reusable Protective Devices (RPDs) in airborne precautions and the fit checking process.

Undertake respirator fit testing, meeting the requirements of the Australian Standard, relevant state Departments of Health and Calvary (theoretical and practical training will be provided).

About you

Tertiary qualifications in health or science e.g. Health and Safety, Occupational Hygiene, Nursing, Allied Health, Respiratory Science, Applied Science

Demonstrated skills to effectively organise and plan in line with frameworks and methodologies required to implement a respiratory protection program

Proven data management / reporting capability and proficient computer skills

Trained in respirator fit testing in line with Resp-Fit competency requirements (preferred but not essential)
