**About the Role**

As an Arbitration Dispute Resolution Manager, you will manage and oversee arbitration and conciliation matters before the Workplace Injury Commision on behalf of DXC Claims Management Services.

You will deal with technical and complex disputes, attend meetings with external stakeholders including WIC, and regularly update stakeholders about progress, outcomes and handle dispute escalations. Provide guidance and technical support to Claims Teams and various parts of the organisation.

**To be successful in the role;**
- Extensive knowledge within the workers’ compensation industry and an in-depth understanding of _Accident Compensation Act_ 1985, _Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act_ 2013, Case Law and medical terminology, WIRC the WorkCover scheme and relevant policies
- Strong experience in claims management in the workers compensation scheme in particular Case Management, Eligibility or Technical Management.
- Evaluate the merits of disputes, sustainability of the case and determine resolution strategies, review claims files and provide sound written and verbal submissions
- Exposure to WorkSafe Victoria claims management systems preferred
- Extensive experience in the workers’ compensation eligibility process, case management, and technical management
- Experience in dispute resolution
- Advanced communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement to achieve optimal outcomes, including in relation to claim determinations, arbitration and conciliation outcomes, and arbitration costs
- The ability to adapt to different situations and driven to achieve outcomes
- Strong working knowledge of the _Accident Compensation Act_ 1985, _Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act_ 2013 and medical terminology.
