**About the role**

Cbus has a fantastic opportunity within our Operations Team. As Workplace and Facilities Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining the long-term Workplace and Facilities plan for our growing organisation. You will lead the Facilities & Property Services function which oversees the National office, front counter facilities for members, fleet management, travel management and front of house. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about facilities management, and who will partner with business stakeholders to define requirements and strategic goals related to the workplace environment.

You will lead a small team of facilities member of staff, and offer guidance and leadership. Working closely with People and Culture you will implement appropriate Occupational Health and Safety requirements, ensure staff amenities are of the highest standard and appropriate for a hybrid working environment. You will also work closely with our building concierge to ensure appropriate security protocols are established and adhered to.

You will have demonstrated people leadership experience and be a strong communicator in general. You will be a proactive business partner with strong collaboration skills, including the ability to engage and influence key internal and external stakeholders and to deliver an employee centred service.[MW1]

Your ability to identify opportunity for your staff, be responsible for performance related discussions and work to foster a positive working environment will be essential in this role. You will be flexible in an ever changing environment, but offer guidance and contribute to overall strategic direction where necessary.

Technical experience required includes vehicle fleet management, commercial lease negotiation, budget related management and business change leadership. Your knowledge of legal requirements, or ability to assess when legal guidance is necessary, will help you navigate your new role with us. This ties in with our operational health and safety standards, and WHS compliance which will have been a key factor in previous similar roles throughout your career.
