**Let’s talk about the role**:
Reporting into the Senior Compliance Manager, you will provide advice and support on compliance matters to all business areas of HCF, including the management and maintenance of the compliance management framework.

You will be responsible in embedding an effective compliance culture into the decision making processes and procedures of HCF.

**What you’ll be doing in the role**:

- Ensuring all HCF compliance obligations under the Risk Management Framework are integrated into the business and meet all regulatory, legislative and business requirements
- Working with the business to ensure the appropriate level of compliance training is in place and completed according to regulatory and business requirements
- Undertaking regular review of the Compliance Management Framework, including policies, processes and systems;
- Maintaining the Compliance Obligations Register for different business units within the HCF Group;
- Maintaining an annual Compliance Management Plan;
- Ensuring up-to-date compliance management documentation is in place, which is appropriate for the target audience;
- Developing and delivering appropriate compliance reporting and assurance to relevant stakeholders (including HCF Directors, management, regulators);
- Overseeing the management and reporting of compliance incidents and breaches;
- Contributing towards the continuous improvement of the regular HCF CRO Report/HCF Life CRO Report and quarterly board and executive committee reporting;
**About You**:

- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, risk, compliance, law or related business disciple
- 3-5 years recent experience working in a compliance team in an APRA regulated entity
- Broad experience in compliance advice, frameworks, regulatory affairs, incidents, policies and board reporting
- Good working knowledge of current Australian privacy laws
- Excellent and effective interpersonal, written and communication skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to set priorities, attention to detail and to ensure that objectives are met
