Job Title: ANZ Tenders & Contracts Team Leader
Reports to: Manager, Sales Operations ANZ
Position Location: Scoresby, Melbourne
Number of Direct Reports: 3

How will you make an impact?

The ANZ Tenders & Contracts Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of Tenders & Contracts Representatives to support the ANZ business in the administration, coordination and maintenance of all contracts/tenders, including generating reports, tender briefings, contract performance reviews and working with internal and external contracting personnel. The ANZ Tenders & Contracts Team Leader is also responsible for preparing and lodging all Healthcare tender submissions.

What will you do?
- Inspire, develop and manage overall performance of team members and partner with team members to cultivate learning and development objectives.
- Recruit, train, set actions and targets, appraise and manage performance, develop, coach and provide general support to all team members to ensure targets are met.
- Develop and execute initiatives to manage, direct and monitor the overall performance of the tender process to deliver maximum efficiency, quality and service to the organisation.
- Maintain and improve mechanisms for obtaining opportunities, surveying and measuring tender process and disseminate feedback to appropriate internal entities
- Prepare & lodge Healthcare tender submissions in accordance with RFT guidelines to a highly professional standard.
- Instill disciplined use of CRM system for proper tender and contract management, ensuring team achieves activity rate targets and maintains a pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed objectives.
- Develop and implement a Daily Management Board (DMB) to perform business analysis and report on trends and performance to provide actionable business insights, improve team efficiency and capture greatest ROI.
- Utilise available resources and develop strong internal relationships with business functions (including sales, finance, legal, QARA, technical support, sales support, customer care, product management, and marketing) to support customers.
- Actively participate in and promote collaboration forums to share market trend insights, competitor intelligence, and customer feedback.
- Lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Plan and participate in training and development programs as a means of continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

- Experience in tender submissions, contracts/legal or related experience
- Prior experience or supervisory responsibility, preferably in tenders and contracts.
- An appetite to progress a career in people management.
- Open, accountable and of high integrity.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet immediate needs and future challenges.
- Team-oriented and have the energy and determination to succeed in everything they do.
- Confident personality, able to effectively engage with others, via oral or written communication.
- Strong analytical, time management and planning skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and grasp concepts and then execute with impact.
