**The Role**
Within the Administration function an ASD4 Executive Assistant is accountable under direction to perform and achieve moderately complex administrative support work within an integrated workforce. They are accountable to have a good understanding of and compliance to relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and the Australian Signals Directorates mission and policy requirements.

Some of the key duties and responsibilities may include:

- Being accountable for organising the SES workflow, making decisions within their defined parameters relating to area of responsibility and will seek guidance when required
- Performing executive support functions including managing the diary and appointments, inbox and meeting arrangements of the SES
- Assembling briefing packs for relevant Australian Signals Directorate committees
- Liaising with stakeholders and visitors of all levels and work collaboratively with all areas of the Australian Signals Directorate
- Build and sustain relationships in order to work collaboratively within the work area and other areas of the Australian Signals Directorate and National Intelligence Community
- Other support duties including organising and providing support for meetings, preparation of meeting papers, organising venues, managing travel arrangements,
- Assisting the senior executive and staff in the branch or work area in fulfilling their responsibilities.

**ASD5 Executive Assistant**

Within the Administration function an ASD5 Executive Assistant is accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve complex administrative support work within an integrated workforce. They are accountable to have and maintain a well-developed understanding of and compliance to relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and the Australian Signal Directorates mission and policy requirements.

Some of the key duties and responsibilities may include:

- Providing high level executive support to the SES in a professional, accurate and timely manner
- Performing executive support functions including managing the diary and appointments, inbox and meeting arrangements of the SES
- Working cohesively and closely with your respective SES Office while assisting other Offices and executive support staff as required
- Responsibility for broader administration support, including assisting with the coordination of ministerial and parliamentary requests, as well as reports, submissions, briefs and records management, organising and providing support for meetings including venues and hospitality, preparation and assembly of meeting packs, managing and acquitting travel arrangements
- Leading by example and providing mentoring, guidance and support to Executive Assistants and Executive Support Officers within the Group and the Agency more broadly
- Being accountable for organising your workflow, making decisions within defined parameters relating to area of responsibility and seeking guidance when required,
- Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders of all levels and working collaboratively to achieve the goals and objectives.
