**About the team**

The Transport Planning branch is responsible for leading the strategic vision for the future of the transport network, including the provision of transport infrastructure and services to cater for future growth and demand, in line with customer and community expectations. The branch leads the development of integrated network and place strategies in collaboration with the Transport cluster, government agencies, customers, communities and stakeholders.

**The opportunity**

Right now, we have an opportunity for a **Project Support Officer** to join us in the Customer Strategy & Technology division of Transport for NSW. This is a Permanent full-time opportunity. Though the base location for the role is Milsons Point, we offer flexible working arrangements.

The **Project Support Officer** role is responsible for performing day-to-day project operation and administrative activities to support project specific and ongoing team related objectives. The role will also develop and coordinate efficient project management and administrative systems and processes to support effective time management and liaison on behalf of team members and ensure co-ordination of briefs and reports.

**What you will be involved in**
- Provide project and operational support, including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved project plans.
- Update and collate documentation and records regarding issues, policies, and practices to ensure the delivery of projects complies with agreed project management methodology.
- Assist the team by providing a range of secretariat and administrative services, including coordinating meetings for Director and team members, preparing agendas, meeting documentation and other tasks to support program management delivery.
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding project status and implementation issues.

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

- Demonstrated experience in project and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated research and data analytical skills and capacity to present information and data in a logical and coherent manner.
- Familiarity with tools and controls used in Project Management
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Problem solving ability.

**Salary and Benefits**

The salary for this position is Transport Service Grade 6 ($97,279 to $107,007) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
