**About the role**

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to support our team in Milsons Point. You will play a crucial role in accurately processing and recording all accounting information for accounts payable, reconciling creditor accounts, and ensuring compliance with tax and accounting standards. With your strong analytical skills and attention to detail, you will help ensure that Breakthru has accurate financial information for effective decision making.

**Some of the key responsibilities include**:

- Liaise with employees and suppliers to attend to all account’s payable functions.
- First point of contact for internal and external customer payment enquiries, ensuring a high-quality customer service with all interactions.
- Develop rapport with internal and external stakeholders to enable accurate and appropriate resolution of concerns or questions raised.
- Independently respond to account queries within a 24-hour timeframe.
- Process and record all accurate accounting information for accounts payable.
- Ensure creditor accounts are reconciled monthly or as required.
- Assisting with all bank reconciliations for the business and ensure accuracy.
- Daily process of accounts payable invoices into the relevant financial system.
- Administration, review and control of company credit card transactions
- Credit card balance reviews

**About you..**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will also be able to demonstrate the following:

- Previous experience in an accounts payable role
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounts payable and bank reconciliation processes
- Effective organizational and self-management skills
- Demonstrated experience with accurate data entry and record keeping
- Ability to show initiative and problem solving skills
- Criminal record check (or willing to obtain)
- Working with children’s check (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS workers screening clearance (or willing to obtain)
- COVID-19 Vaccination certificate (Required doses in accordance with Government Health Advice)
