**About the role**

This position is for a permanent part-time staff member (64 hours per fortnight) to support our Dietetic team. The schedule will rotate over a 7-day roster, so availability to work on any day of the week is required. Current shift times are 6:30am till 3pm and 9am till 5:30pm. You will work between the Rehabilitation and Palliative Care wards.

Your main duties will include:

- Preparation, distribution, collection and processing of patient menus
- Assisting the Dietitians with duties within scope of practice
- Supervision of the plating of patient meals

**About you (Essential Criteria)**
- Certificate IV in Allied Heath Assistance (Nutrition and Dietetics); or Certificate III in Nutrition & Dietetic Assistance (or equivalent experience)
- Understanding of basic clinical nutrition practices, specialised nutrition products and food safety/HACCP
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills, organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to strict schedules
- Ability to work as a team member as well as independently
- Ability to cover a 7-day roster
- Basic computer literacy and ability to easily learn new software
