**About the role**

The primary function of the Purchasing Officer role is the procurement functions for the Calvary Kogarah Hospital. The additional functions involve the hospital fleet and communication system.

**About you**
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of mainframe purchasing systems such as Finance one/Oracle etc.
- High level of written and oral communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of procurement techniques and controls.
- Ability to identify and recommend improvement in processing and procurement techniques.
- Understanding of department of commerce Smart buy.
- Proven ability to negotiate with vendors on products to achieve the lowest total cost to CHCK.
- Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
