We are dedicated to transforming the lives of young people, empowering them to reach their full potential. Our goal is to create thriving and welcoming hubs within the community, where sports, recreation and youth services play a central role.

As the Centre Coordinator, you will report to the Centre Operations Manager and take charge of the overall management and performance of the centre. Your responsibilities will include overseeing recreation programs, managing risk factors, and financial management.

You will lead a team of staff and volunteers to engage with the community to support the delivery of a range of programs and activities reflective of the community’s needs. Customer service and community engagement will be a top priority, as you interact with visitors, addressing their queries, and providing exceptional service.

To excel in this role, you will need exceptional time management, leadership, and communication skills. Your ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of the center and foster a positive and inclusive environment will be key.

**About you**:

- Experience in Sports and Recreation, Customer Service management, Community Services, Youth Services or another relevant field
- Experience in Administration including knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Experience in managing staff with a proven ability to lead staff in challenging work environments
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working in a busy and demanding customer service environment
- Current or willing to obtain National Police Check and Working with Children Check

Desirable:

- Qualification (at least to Certificate III) and/or experience in youth work, community development / welfare, human services or related discipline
- Experience or knowledge within the sports and recreational related industry
- Current Senior First Aid & / or CPR certificate
