The SharePoint Intranet Product Owner is a role within Business Improvement and Technology and is accountable to the Manager, Digital Strategy and Solutions for:

- Development and maintenance of the SharePoint intranet platform.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritise features, and ensure the intranet aligns with business objectives.

Key outcomes and accountabilities:
1. Conduct regular assessments of the intranet's effectiveness and propose enhancements to improve user experience and engagement, prioritising enhancements based on business value, user needs, and available resources.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements for the intranet and collaborate with content owners to ensure accurate, relevant, and up-to-date information is available on the intranet.
3. Configure and customise SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and other intranet components to meet business needs.

5. Ensure an intuitive and user-friendly experience for intranet users through effective information architecture and navigation design.
6. Define and enforce intranet content management standards, guidelines, and governance processes.
7. Conduct training sessions and create user guides to educate employees on intranet features and functionality.
8. Monitor intranet usage, engagement metrics, and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Note: Any other responsibilities in line with the classification level of the role as assigned by Line Manager and/or the Department. The responsibilities as specified above may be altered in accordance with the changing requirements of the role.

**Essential Qualifications**

Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Information Technology, Business, Marketing or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation
