Halcyon Knights is seeking an experienced Product Owner, for a prestigious state government client based in Adelaide CBD. The Product Owner will collaborate closely with the Product Manager and key stakeholders to understand and execute the product vision and roadmap. This role is crucial for analyzing and decomposing features into user stories, ensuring problem resolution, and maintaining customer satisfaction. The Product Owner will also prioritize and manage the product backlog, define sprint goals, and serve as the primary liaison between our customers, stakeholders, and scrum teams.
Pay Rate: $ Super
Duration: Until 27 June 2025
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Lead the execution of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to fulfill customer needs and deliver relevant programs.
- Drive the product functional design process, ensuring that the product and its features meet user specifications and contract/licence conditions.
- Decompose features into user stories, prioritize the backlog, including bug fixes, in line with overall strategy and business objectives.
- Ensure appropriate approvals for user stories are sought from relevant stakeholders.
- Align product management with divisional and departmental security programs and policies.
- Work with stakeholders to achieve objectives, influence product improvements, and monitor user and stakeholder feedback.
- Establish working relationships with stakeholders to develop business requirements.
- Provide necessary clarifications to assist the delivery team with user story estimates and sequencing.
- Continuously review business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and proactively identify improvement areas.
- Collaborate with the architecture lead to define enabler stories.
- Participate in risk identification and management activities for the product.
ABOUT YOU
⦁ High-level interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and networks.
⦁ Experience in managing the full lifecycle of digital products.
⦁ Proven experience working within agile frameworks.
⦁ Ability to manage effectively in a changing environment, providing coordination, consultation, delegation, and monitoring.
⦁ Ability to document complex business requirements into user stories and manage competing priorities.
⦁ Skills in Product Management, Change Management, Requirements Definition, Supplier Management, and Relationship Management
⦁ Must be abe to pass a police clearence
