**Who are we looking for?**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic professional who is dedicated to supporting and empowering young individuals. Play a key role in training and enhancing AnglicareSA’ s Mentoring program by providing guidance and support to current Mentors whilst contributing to the design and delivery of programs that aim to improve outcomes for young people and their families.

**What can you expect to be doing?**:

- Design, develop, deliver and review programs and activities focussed on emotional, physical, cultural, educational and behavioural development of young people
- Train and build mentor capacity to support and work alongside young people and meet their needs in a trauma informed approach
- Build and maintain working relationships with relevant agencies, teams and associations to share resources and coordinate connected services
- Actively plan, participate and promote engagement with culturally empowering services and events such as NAIDOC
- Champion a culture of youth advocacy and peer support for young people

**What do you need to bring?**:

- ** **Experience in Youth Work, Social Work, Community Development or equivalent experience is a necessity
- Experience in mentoring or working with children and young people
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with children and young people with complex needs and from diverse backgrounds, as well as service providers
- Experience of program design, development and coordination for children and young people is highly desirable
