**About the** **Business**

Our Community and Aboriginal Partnerships Division helps to build community safety and wellbeing by providing support and services to children, young people and families, including those involved with the youth justice system, remote Aboriginal communities, people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and people with complex and exceptional needs. The Department also leads the department's Closing the Gap efforts.

**Role Details**

The Manager, Strategic Engagement, Safety and Wellbeing Taskforce is a role within Community and Family Services and is accountable to the Executive Director, Community and Family Services for:

- providing expert governance and policy advice at departmental, portfolio, whole of government and intergovernmental levels.
- developing and maintaining high level, culturally sensitive, and productive working relationships with government bodies, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs), Native Title Bodies, non-government organisations (NGOs) and community groups.
- extensively contributing to policy development and implementation in response to community needs across South Australia as well as managing sensitive issues and negotiations with key stakeholders and staff.
- coordinating, implementing, and analysing business systems that meet government standards.

**Salary Range**: $121,107 - $125,679 (ASO8)

**Location**: Adelaide
