Our newly formed Financial Wellbeing, Research and Design (FWRD) team will accelerate ANZ’s purpose of shaping a world where people and communities thrive and our ability to improve financial wellbeing through three distinct components:
**Financial Wellbeing**: Delivering better customer and commercial outcomes by supporting the delivery of purpose driven products, services, and experiences.

**Research**: Improving our understanding of financial health, human financial decision making and promising global innovations.

This role will be primarily accountable for designing, managing, and executing on Design Research initiatives that support our delivery and strategic teams across ANZ's retail portfolio (ANZ and ANZ Plus). The role supports the Chapter lead, working with teams to ensure a robust evidence base approach is established and also help interpret the evidence to build confidence for stakeholders to help make decisions. Strong stakeholder management will be essential for this role. In addition, the role will require you to work with our strategic researchers, behavioural scientist, and financial wellbeing peers.

What will you bring?

Experience executing design research projects, both quantitative and qualitative (evaluative and generative) as well as desk research

Knowledge of various research approaches

Have experience working with remote research tools such as UserZoom and Lookback

Being able to adapt and pivot-based project needs and challenges

Experience managing research agencies, processes, and outputs

Business communication & collaboration skills

Stakeholder management is essential, i.e., working with diverse set of stakeholders such design, tech, legal and data science

A good relationship builder

Financial wellbeing knowledge as it pertains to customers

Undergraduate degree

Demonstrated preference for learning irrespective of the educational format
