WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

**About the Team**

This role will report to the Land 400 Service Support Manager and form part of a team of Field Service Representatives. The team forms part of the greater Service and Support team which will continue to grow throughout 2023. The Land400 FSR team are a group of supportive and hard working individuals who have become technical experts of the Boxer CRV. The majority of the team represent RDA in the field and engage directly with our customer and other stakeholders.

**About the Role**

The Rheinmetall Field Service Representatives are responsible for providing maintenance and advisory services for logistics and armoured (tracked or wheeled) vehicles, and delivering reliable, high quality and timely service support to our customer. The roles are primarily based in Brisbane / Ipswich with the FSR team servicing all of South East Queensland.

As Field Service Representative**,** you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

- Working at various sites to conduct, assist and or supervise in diagnosis and repairs on RDA supported vehicles, turrets and weapons;
- Documenting work order information in the RDA ERP/ISSDB;
- Being the face of the Rheinmetall brand when engaging with customers/stakeholders;
- Checking and monitoring the repair progress of supported vehicles and associated mission modules, turrets and weapons (mission systems);
- Checking and resolving requests for warranty settlement topic completeness, accuracy and plausibility;
- Undertaking Acceptance and documentation of technical inquiries from the customer/end user;
- Performing technical investigations associated with faults or damages of equipment;
- Preparing reports associated with technical investigations, including technical inspection reports or technical briefs; and
- Fulfilling other duties and responsibilities that may be required as determined with Line Manager from time to time.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

- An auto-electrican, aviation weapons or mechatronics qualification;
- Proven experience maintaining a fleet of trucks or armoured vehicles / equipment.
- Proven experience servicing and repairing of heavy equipment, as well as all sub-system components;
- Experience with maintaining turrets and/or weapon systems;
- CANBUS experience and automotive diagnostic skills, specifically with European manufacturers;
- Conversant with the current Land Materiel Safety Manual and ADF technical regulatory requirements;
- Ability to work with mínimal guidance and supervision;
- Ability to travel interstate and internationally (infrequent), when required; and
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
