**About the role**
Salary range: $71,894 to $87,293 plus statutory super
The People and Culture Support Officer and Advisor will be required to:
- Provide support to the People & Culture Manager in Learning and Development initiatives. Coordinate the procurement and delivery of workshops, manage and record attendance, evaluate programs, manage supplier contacts, raise purchase orders and record costings in the People and Culture Budget planner.
- Administer VIT's Learning Management System (LMS) including compliance training for all staff and provide reports on request.
- Assist the People and Culture team in the development and implementation of the People and Culture Strategy and Annual People Plan with the focus on policy and procedures, identifying wellbeing initiatives, developing resources, and supporting initiatives to build organisational capability.
- Provide support with the implementation of VIT's Gender Equity Action Plan and other diversity and inclusion initiatives and activities.
- Provide administrative support to key committees including the Staff Consultative Committee.
- Organise refresher training for First Aid Officers, OHS representatives and other committee members when required.
- Provide People and Culture guidance and interpretation on operational matters, the Enterprise Agreement, policy and procedures to managers and staff.
- Maintain meticulous records of People and Culture documents, employee files and data in VIT's record management system (ECM) to ensure all information is current, accurate, auditable, and saved correctly.
- Review and maintain currency of the People and Culture tab and Managers tab on the Staff Hub to ensure all forms are aligned to policy and are accessible to appropriate staff.
- Work with the People and Culture Manager to support VIT's staff survey processes, including the People Matter Survey.
**About you**
As an experienced HR practitioner, you will have sound and practical knowledge of current Human Resources practices. You will have experience working with a broad range of Human Resources processes and ideally a passion working in a regulatory organisation.
