About the Roles

The Project:
Dematic is delivering a state-of-the-art warehouse and logistics automation project for one of Dematic’s global blue-chip clients with a project value in the mid-billion AUD. This major project contains 80,000 sqm of automated storage and retrieval systems (conveyer, racking, robotics) and will be executed from 2024 to 2028. Dematic will deliver the automation fit-out from in-house design (mechanical, electrical, controls and software) to completion, including installation, commissioning and testing to handover.

Job Overview:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for two highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinators to join our dynamic team. These roles are responsible for looking after a large-scale warehouse and distribution center project in Victoria. These roles are ideally based in Melbourne (as the project site is based in Tarneit, Melbourne) but Sydney will be considered also.

**Tasks and Qualifications**:
**Key Responsibilities
**One role will have a key focus on the coordination of project planning and scheduling, and the other will focus on project document management.**

Project Planning and Scheduling:

- Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules
- Monitor project timelines and milestones, ensuring adherence to deadlines
- Identify potential issues and proactively develop solutions to keep the project on track

Document Management:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders
- Maintain accurate document registers, including risk register, deliverables register, delay register
- Organize and archive project records for future reference
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of project reports

Communication and Collaboration:

- Act as a central point of contact for all project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
- Facilitate regular project meetings to discuss progress, issues, and upcoming milestones
- Ensure effective communication flow and information exchange between all parties involved in the project

**About You - What We Are Looking For**
- A Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a project coordinator in the construction industry preferred
- Knowledge of construction or installation processes, materials, and methods
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
