**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
Reporting to the Lead Cost Controller, the Cost Administrator provides cost control administration support to the Project Controls Team. Processing, checking and verifying invoices to orders, reconciling and maintaining systems to assist with ensuring costs are effectively controlled and reported against the approved project budget.

This position is offered with consideration of a a maximum term or casual full-time position based at West Perth office.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Maintain purchase orders and contract packages
- Process invoices and creation of progress payment certificates
- Provide effective Commitment Control on relevant packages, using a proactive approach to avoid overruns
- Ensure the adherence to project change control processes to ensure budgets are managed in accordance with project scope
- Assist with forecasting of packages
- Facilitate the cost close out packages
- Effectively liaise with site teams, and stakeholders such as creditors as required
- Respond to general cost administration queries
- Administration duties that include filing, scanning and preparing information to support the cost control team

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Previous experience in a Cost Administrator, Cost Controller and/or Accounting role within the;
- Mining Project or Construction industry
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience of Purchase Ledger/Accounting cost systems
- Team player with the ability to work well within commercial and project teams
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines
- CMS project controls system and Pronto accounts system knowledge is highly desirable
