Vitex Pharmaceuticals is seeking motivated and early-career Laboratory Analysts to join our dynamic and growing Quality team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting our Quality team in maintaining the highest standards and processes for product quality. This afternoon shift role commencing at 2.30pm offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and development in the pharmaceutical industry.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Perform routine chemical testing on raw materials, in-process samples and finished products according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Use analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, ICP, TLC, FTIR, UV-Vis and dissolution testing to ensure product quality.
- Perform wet chemistry techniques on materials, including titrations, pH testing and moisture analysis.
- Verify materials and products meet specifications and ensure all records are completed and signed off as required.
- Participate in internal calibration of instrumentation and equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work environment.

**Skills required**:

- University degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Medical Science, Pharmacy).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A pro-active approach to resolving issues and high attention to detail.?
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting using relevant software tools.
- Strong technical capability and a passion for learning
