Expand and share your high level executive support and project expertise by joining the Association of Independent Schools of NSW (AISNSW) as a Project Officer in the Office of the Chief Executive Portfolio.

We are seeking a **full-time project office**r with **exceptional oral and written communication skills** to support the Associate Chief Executive in a high level capacity.

**What will you do?**
Under the direction of the Associate Chief Executive, the Project Officer will support the coordination of Portfolio and AISNSW activities. This will include creating templates for reporting purposes, preparing PowerPoints and ensuring appropriate filing and record-keeping.

This position will ideally suit a proactive and organised person who is adept at balancing competing demands and priorities.
This position will involve working with colleagues across the organisation.

**What qualifications and experience will you need?**
- Tertiary education qualifications.
- Experience in a similar role.

**What will be your key responsibilities?**
- Undertaking the administration of a diverse and varied range of projects, including developing accountability mechanisms to track project deliverables and monitoring project progress.
- Preparing project documentation and other materials i.e., PDF, PowerPoint, Reports, Surveys; etc.
- Scheduling and diary management including forward planning and itinerary preparation.
- Organisation of meetings including correspondence, documentation and catering as required.
- Communication with senior staff across the organisation, schools, government departments and other stakeholders.
- Preparation and management of correspondence and other documentation.
- Other duties as required by the Chief Executive.

**What skills and attributes will you have?**
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality, discretion and deal respectfully with sensitive matters.
- High level organisation skills.
- High level communication, analytical and interpersonal skills, to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation as well as schools, government agencies and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated skills in project management, including working to deadlines, balancing competing priorities, teamwork and working across a range of projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Reasonable technological skills and confidence with learning new technologies.
- Willingness and capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a small team and across the organisation in a proactive manner.
- Commitment to the purpose and values of AISNSW.

**Reporting line**
