**Overview**

The State Government has committed to enhance the existing Port Pirie lead abatement program, by increasing its focus on prevention of lead exposure in children aged 0-2 years, in addition to maintaining (and enhancing) current essential harm minimisation for children with elevated blood lead levels.

The Environmental Health Centre is the key agency for implementing the Targeted Lead Abatement Program (TLAP) Subprogram 2: Early intervention, a major component of TLAP.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Family Health and Development Clinician to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in providing comprehensive case management to families, carers of children with elevated blood lead levels living in the city of Port Pirie.
