The Clinical Support Officer will assist in the provision of an efficient, high quality service to clients by performing a range of clerical duties, providing clinical support and general departmental duties to assist the Clinicians within a multi-disciplinary team under the direction of the Patient Journey Team Leader and in conjunction with clinicians across the Rural Health Team.

In consultation with clinicians the Clinical Support officer is responsible for carrying out a variety of programs and activities related to Health professional practice.

In addition, the Clinical Support Officer under the direction of the Patient Journey Team Leader will assist in developing, implementing and evaluating programs.

The role includes client contact, individual and group work, resource development, delegated administration work, developing service plans and maintenance of a waiting list. Liaison with clients, families, professional staff and other home support agencies in the region.

This is a part time vacancy, working 30 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
