**About the role**

The Maintenance Officer role is tasked with delivering effective and efficient maintenance of buildings, plant, equipment (including the motor vehicle fleet), furniture and fittings and to oversee external contractors, when required.

Part-time or full-time available, minimum 22.8 hours per week

**Duties**:

- Undertake and perform general ad hoc maintenance tasks across the buildings and grounds.
- Maintain compliance with scheduled building and grounds maintenance program.
- Coordinate contractors for relevant work.
- Maintain a safe and attractive enviornment for clients and staff.
- Ensure the facilities are always presented to a high standard.

**Skills & experience**
- Experience in a broad range of maintenance skills and have knowledge of building and grounds maintenance as well as the monitoring of fire and security systems.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in engaging with sub-contractors.
- Experience in monitoring, recording and facilitating maintenance of 'Essential Services' as they may relate to the service.
- Knowledge of OH&S regulations and have a commitment to its implementation.
- Attention to detail and capacity to identify and achieve a high standard of work quality.
