**About the Role**

We are currently looking for a Permanent **Mechanical Fitter** to join our **Maintenance Team **at **Reservoir,** Victoria. You will play a vital role in the safety, efficiency, and profitability of our site. As a **Mechanical Fitter,** you will be responsible for mechanical maintenance, involved in hands-on preventative maintenance, repairs & refurbishments, as well as play a large part in maintenance planning on our machines and equipment across the full site.

Our business is always fast-moving and safety-focused therefore we looking for people who take pride in their work and ensure they work in a clean, efficient, and effective manner. We are excited to find someone who can work towards manufacturing excellence and not settle for a reactive style of work.

**Skills and Experience**
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in Manufacturing
- Experience with CMMS, JSEA and Permits to work
- Extensive background in 5S and spare parts management experience
- Preventive Maintenance and Proactive mindset required
- Competency in the safe use of cranes and slinging
- Perform risk assessments on planned & unplanned maintenance tasks.
- Understanding of efficient continuous improvement/repairs
- You are passionate about safety and driving awareness
- Ability to minimise factory downtime with safe operating machinery
- Excellent knowledge of using Microsoft Office ie Excel and Word
- Have clear communication skills both verbal & written
- You must be able to work a 12-hour roster (weekend work required)

**Preferred Certificates and Licenses**
- Trades and Fitter Certificate
- Forklift Licence
- Working at Heights Certificate
- Competitive Manufacturing Cert IV
- Restricted Electrical license
