About the role
Undertaking rotations in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care Medicine, the position is suitable for those interested in an Anaesthetic Career.
For Intensive Care trainees, opportunities to undertake Medical rotations to meet college requirements may be negotiated.
For trainees interested in an Anaesthetic career, Eastern Health Department of Anaesthesia offers a lot of support and coaching to help applicants for the Victorian Anaesthesia Training Scheme (VATS) secure a position.
It is envisaged that a number of ICU registrar positions in Eastern Health will be filled by applicants who are either interested in training, or already training, to become Intensive Care Specialists with the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM).

Current registration with AHPRA
Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
A strong commitment to high quality care
The ability to work as part of a diverse team
Excellent communication and organisational skills

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
