JDA Hotels have an exciting opportunity available in their Head Office location, for an experienced **Human Resources Administrator**.

**About the role**

The role vacant involves acting as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. The HR Administrator will work closely with the HR Manager to assist and support with the smooth running of the HR Department on a daily basis.

Responsibilities will include:

- Maintain all HR records, files, registers and databases, as well as HR forms and templates.
- Undertake all recruitment and selection related administration including advertising, managing recruitment inbox, scheduling interviews and liaising with applicants.
- Co-ordinate and manage on-boarding and off-boarding processes for employees, contractors and temporary staff including assisting with inductions where needed.
- Manage internal and external HR enquiries, respond to information requests and maintain information flows with business areas regarding HR processes.
- Collate and provide payroll paperwork to the Assistant Accountant and work closely on payroll processing.
- Contribute to the delivery of HR projects and programs.
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake general administration tasks to ensure the effective operations of the department e.g. co-ordinate meetings and provide general administrative support to the HR Manager.
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the organisation's project management program (i.e. Smartsheet).

**Skills and experience**
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or working towards a qualification.
- Administrative/HR experience in a similar role (Hospitality Industry experience will be highly regarded).
- Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to discuss and resolve problems and complaints.
- The ability to maintain accurate records.
- The ability to communicate with staff at all levels, provide superior administrative support and promote a team environment.
- Understanding of Hospitality Award and National Employment Standards.
- Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise important projects.
- Able to quickly learn the functionality and operation of new computer programs/software.
- Able to commence role immediately.
